- Jaecoo J5 & J7 PHEV Art Cars Showcased at LahLahLand 2025

Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia has showcased the Jaecoo J5 and J7 PHEV art cars at the LahLahLand 2025.
Omoda | Jaecoo Malaysia took centre stage at the LahLahLand 2025 lifestyle festival by showcasing the Jaecoo J5 and J7 PHEV art cars.

Each of these three art cars features its own unique and striking design that reflects the dynamic themes of LahLahLand 2025 while ensuring that these premium SUVs fit seamlessly within the festival’s creative direction.

Held from Nov 1 to 2 at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), LahLahLand 2025 has also become the stage for yet another public preview of the upcoming J5 ahead of its much-anticipated debut later in Q1 2026.

First previewed at the Omoda | Jaecoo Carnival earlier this year, the J5 is positioned as the brand’s new B-segment SUV, featuring a 1.5-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol heart rated at 147 PS and 210 Nm. Said engine is then mated to a CVT automatic gearbox that sends power to the front wheels (FWD).
Some key highlights for the J5 include a large 13.2-inch 2K infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, and Level 2 ADAS with functions like Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Lane Keep Assist (LKA), to name a few.

Commenting on this partnership, executive vice president of Chery Corporate Malaysia Meng Li Bo said, “Omoda | Jaecoo’s collaboration with LahLahLand was a celebration of individuality and movement. Both brands share a belief in creative self-expression and forward momentum—values that resonate with a new generation of users across Malaysia who see mobility not just as transportation but as part of their lifestyle identity.”
Speaking on the collaboration, LahLahLand Founder Bryan Chin added, “LahLahLand thrives on creativity and self-expression, and that’s exactly what the Omoda | Jaecoo partnership represents. The Omoda | Jaecoo brand goes beyond just vehicles—it’s a statement of style, capability, and youthful individuality that speaks to our crowd.”

The upcoming Jaecoo J5 SUV is now open for booking, with an estimated starting price of RM120,000. You can learn more about this B-SUV by checking out our previous report here.
