ChargeSini rolled out yet another new EV charging station, this time in the district of Yong Peng of Johor Bahru. This now stands as the sole EV charging station in said district, and it’s housed on the premises of Target Supermarket right in-front of Kluang Rail Coffee cafe.
This new ChargeSini facility at Target Supermarket features a dual-gun CCS2 60 kW DC charger capable of serving two dedicated EV charging bays (EVCB). It’s also worth noting that this facility is set-up in accordance with the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM) guidelines, complete with isolation bays.

As usual, these chargers are accessible through the ChargeSini mobile app that’s available across both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
And as we’ve seen in other recently opened ChargeSini DCFCs of late, this latest one at Target Supermarket is also brimmed with an automated parking barrier system that automatically lowers when a charging session is initiated via the ChargeSini app. According to ChargeSini these parking barriers are important to deter ‘ICEing’.

This facility charges its customers by kWh at a rate of RM1.19/kWh. Users are subject to a minimum RM5 charging fee and a 15-minute grace period to relocate their vehicles after completing their charging sessions. After which, an idle fee of RM1 for each 5-minute block is levied if the charged vehicle is not moved within the grace period.
