Second Penang Bridge Closed This Friday Night For Police Fun Ride

The Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge (Second Penang Bridge) will be closed temporarily for the PDRM 2nd Bridge 2023 Solidarity Fun Ride programme this weekend.
 Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB) said that the bridge will be closed from 10pm on Friday (Dec 22) until 3am on Saturday (Dec 23) because cyclists will cross the bridge as part of the 54km route.

"The bridge will be closed on Friday night until early Saturday morning. 2444955.jpg


"It will open and operate as usual after the end of the cycling event," it said.


Road users are advised to take the Penang Bridge as an alternate route and to follow all signs and instructions.


Highway users can contact the JKSB Hotline at 1300-30-2828 for traffic updates or assistance during emergencies, JKSB said.
