KTMB will introduce two additional electric train services (ETS), making a total of eleven trips for the Padang Besar to KL Sentral route and vice versa in view of the upcoming first term school holidays from May 24 to June 3.

KTMB also announced that the extra train tickets would be available for purchase beginning at 8PM today (May 9). These extra services will create an additional 630 tickets every day, bringing the total number of available tickets to 6,930, including those for business class coaches.

To avoid inconvenience, KTMB urge customers to book their tickets ahead of time and avoid last-minute transactions. Furthermore, KTMB also detailed the itinerary for the additional ETS trip, which departs from Padang Besar at 11 PM and arrives at KL Sentral at 4:36 PM while departures from KL Sentral will be at 5:05 PM, with arrivals at Padang Besar at 10:34 PM.

The decision behind these additional services is aimed to cater to the anticipated high demand during the school vacation travel season and to accommodate people returning to their hometowns.

KTMB encourages everyone to use the KTM Mobile application (KITS) or visit the KTMB website at www.ktmb.com.my for quick and easy cashless payments.
