- Ironman 4x4 Unveils Modification Kit for New Mitsubishi Triton
Ironman 4x4’s modification kit for the new Mitsubishi Triton transforms this boxy pick-up truck into a battle-ready machine.
Ever since its debut last year, the all-new, third-gen Mitsubishi Triton has got many people talking about its new boxy design. Regardless of which side of the camp you’re in, Aussie-based 4x4 tuning company Ironman 4x4 has got a solution to transform the ‘humble’ Triton into a rugged pick-up truck that looks ready for all sorts of adventure.
Starting with the bull bars, Ironman 4x4 offers the new Triton with three different bull bar options, namely Commercial, Deluxe, and Raid. All three bull bars are made from powder-coated steel with varying designs, with the Commercial one featuring mounting points for extra equipment.

The middling Deluxe bull bar, on the other hand, comes with extra LEDs and dual antenna mounts for better versatility, while the Raid bar features the most rugged design of them all, featuring honeycomb air intakes but missing the headlights and hood protection.
Similar treatment has been applied to the rear part of the new Triton, with the pick-up truck model being offered with a steel bumper that integrates a tow hitch and recovery points. Besides both front ends, other optional upgrades offered by Ironman 4x4 include fender extensions and a range of suspension kits with options varying from nitro gas or foam cell configurations.
For the Australian market, these upgrade kits for the new Mitsubishi Triton are priced from AUD 1,934 (RM6,067) for the Commercial bull bar, followed by AUD 2,299 (RM7,213) for the Deluxe model and AUD 2,561 (RM8,035) for the top-spec Raid bull bar. Other upgrade options, like the fender extensions and the rear protection bars, are priced at AUD 499 (RM1,565) and AUD 1,411 (RM4,426), respectively, while the suspension kits range from AUD 2,184 (RM6,852) to AUD 3,008 (RM9,437).
The first production batch for the Ironman 4x4 Mitsubishi Triton modification kit is poised to hit the Australian market in early July this year. Besides these upgrade options, the firm is currently working on more accessories for the new Triton, including a canopy, side rails, underbody armouring, roof racks, and many more.

Closer to home, the all-new, third-gen Mitsubishi Triton is poised to make its local debut any time soon, with the previous-gen model still on sale by Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) today. Once the new Triton pick-up truck is launched, it is good to know that many aftermarket upgrade kits and accessories are available for buyers to choose from should they desire to spice up their pick-up trucks.
