The all-new BMW 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition lands in Malaysia with minor styling tweaks, priced at RM223,800.

BMW Group Malaysia has launched the new BMW 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition today, with said model arriving alongside the BMW X3 Final Edition models.

Based on the existing 218i M Sport variant, this Final Edition model gets a host of black accents courtesy of the M high-gloss Shadowline package the model comes standard with. Among the black-draped parts are the front kidney grille, the dual exhaust tips, window surrounds, rear bumper accents, side skirts, and more.

Besides the M Sport-specific body kit it comes with, the 218i Final Edition also rolls on new 18-inch 553 M bicolour light-alloy wheels with Y-spoke design and two-tone silver and black finishing. As standard, the 218i Final Edition is available in three main colourways, namely Skyscraper Grey, Black Sapphire, and Alpine White.

Some minor equipment upgrades also take place inside the 218i Final Edition, with key additions including the wireless charging pad and a new 10-speaker HiFi sound system rated at 205 W. Other cabin equipment is carried over from the M Sport model, including its sporty front seats wrapped in Dakota leather upholstery, Illuminated Boston interior trim, the dual 10.25-inch display courtesy of the BMW Live Cockpit Professional package, and many more.

Also unchanged is the powertrain setup that drives the 218i Final Edition model, as it gets the same 1.5-litre 3-cyl turbocharged petrol mill rated at 138 HP and 220 NM. Said engine is mated to a 7-speed Steptronic DCT gearbox that drives the front wheels (FWD) for a century sprint time of 8.7 seconds and a V-Max of 213 KM/H.

Locally assembled (CKD) at the Inokom Kulim plant in Kedah, the all-new BMW 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition is tagged at RM223,800 on-the-road sans insurance, making it RM5,000 pricier than the standard 218i M Sport. Beside the standard 2-year unlimited mileage warranty, customers will also get complimentary BMW roadside assistance and accident hotline support, as well as BMW Service Online.

As per any other BMW model, the new 218i Final Edition is also offered with the optional BMW Service Repair Inclusive (BSRI), which grants a 5-year extended warranty and service package. Priced at RM20,600 by itself, this package sees the 218i Final Edition base price bump up to RM244,400.
