This BMW Neue Klasse Touring Render Gives A Glimpse Into Future 3 Series Wagon

It is no secret that BMW is planning to replace the current G20-gen 3 Series with a new one in years to come, with the radical Vision Neue Klasse concept serving as the basis for the next-gen model. While the concept looks okay in its three-box sedan form, we’d reckon that 3 Series Touring fans would want to see a wagon version of this concept.
This BMW Neue Klasse Touring rendering by Sugar Design gives us a glimpse into the next-gen 3 Series wagon.
Fortunately, you don’t need to squeeze every brain juice out to imagine how such a car would look like, as renowned render artist Sugar Design has put up a stylish render of an EV wagon based on the Neue Klasse saloon concept, known as the Neue Klasse Touring.
It is important to note that many other render artists have also come up with their own take on a wagon version of the Neue Klasse concept, but what sets Sugar Design’s Neue Klasse Touring apart from the rest is the integration of some design elements from older 3 Series models, particularly the E30-gen 3 Series Touring.
At one glance, you’ll immediately see that the Neue Klasse Touring gets the E30’s iconic four angel eyes for its DRLs instead of the dual ones we saw on the actual saloon. Apart from that, the wagon also sits lower than its saloon concept twin and also comes with physical side mirrors instead of digital cameras, which is what will probably be used on the actual production model.
In case you’re not a fan of the retro throwback touches, Sugar Design has also put up a render of the Neue Klasse Touring, which looks closer to the real Vision Neue Klasse thanks to the absence of the four angel eyes at the front.
Back to the E30-inspired Neue Klasse Touring, this rendered wagon bears very little resemblance to the actual Vision Neue Klasse as we go past its B-pillars, where it sports a wagon bodystyle. If not for the similar taillight design, we are certain that this rendered model looks closer to the current-gen BMW 5 Series Touring, as said wagon model also sports a square-ish roof design.
While the Neue Klasse Touring looks cool and promising, unfortunately we still can’t be sure how BMW will interpret the design of the Vision Neue Klasse concept on the next-gen 3 Series Touring. Given how radical House Bavaria has been in designing its models of late, perhaps it’ll be wise not to put up your expectations too high on them, but our fingers are still crossed for something at least remotely similar to this stylishly-rendered model.
