- MG Malaysia Network Grows With Four New Dealerships
Earlier this month, MG Malaysia (SAIC Motor Malaysia) launched its first combustion (ICE)-powered offering locally in the form of the MG5 fastback saloon.
Fresh from launching its first combustion (ICE)-powered offering – the MG5 fastback sedan – locally earlier this month, MG Malaysia (SAIC Motor Malaysia) is keeping up its momentum. Earlier today, the firm revealed that the local MG brand network has grown further.
Four new MG dealerships have been added to said network, those being MG Motor Balakong, MG Motor Klang, MG Motor Muar and MG Motor Skudai. Altogether, MG Malaysia’s network now sees 15 active dealerships and outlets running, with a further five set to open their doors by year’s end.
With that, the firm will see no less than 20 brand outlets operational by year’s end, and the firm appears on track towards reaching its earlier stated goal of establishing 35 outlets nationwide – East Malaysia included.
Earlier today, MG Malaysia revealed its local dealership network has expanded four new outlets added, those being MG Motor Balakong, MG Motor Klang, MG Motor Muar and MG Motor Skudai.
Notably, the four new MG dealerships mentioned now see all three of the brand’s current models on display in their respective premises. Besides the newly launched MG5 mentioned, the other two models on show here are of course the fully electric MG4 hatch and MG ZS EV crossover.
"These official openings mark a key milestone in our commitment to serving customers with our full range of products, while keeping exceptional customer service at the forefront,” said Emory QiFeng, SAIC Motor Malaysia’s newly appointed Managing Director.
Looking ahead, MG Malaysia is poised to expand its local line-up with more new offerings. Key amongst which will be the upcoming new MG HS mid-sized crossover SUV, which is now open for early bookings with estimated ceiling prices of RM130,000 (Standard) and RM150,000 (Lux).
Besides new outlets, MG Malaysia is also poised to grow its line-up further with the upcoming MG HS mid-sized crossover SUV (left) and the MG Cyberster electric 'halo' roadster model.
That aside, MG Malaysia is also widely tipped to officially launch its MG Cyberster electric ‘halo’ roadster model locally before year’s end too.
Along with the MG5 and MG HS mentioned, the Cyberster was previewed locally back in Aug this year, and insider sources indicate a possible starting price ranging between RM250,000 and RM350,000.
