Omoda C9 CKD Rolls Off, Ready For Jan 2025 Delivery

Jaecoo Malaysia is ready to take on 2025 as its first domestically assembled Omoda C9 Premium Off-road SUV rolled off the production line at the Chery Shah Alam CKD factory.

This is a crucial milestone following the C9's widely anticipated unveiling on Dec 4, 2024, as manufacturing remains on target to start customer vehicle deliveries in Jan 2025.

The all-new Omoda C9, combines cutting-edge design and performance, with the base 2WD variation priced at RM168,800 and the top-tier AWD variant priced at RM188,800. Both models provide a comprehensive 7-year or 150,000 km car warranty, providing purchasers with peace of mind.

Emily Lek, VP of Jaecoo Malaysia, stated, "We are delighted with the great market response towards the C9 Premium Off-road SUV Coupé. This CKD roll-out effort demonstrates Jaecoo Malaysia's commitment to satisfy customer demand while providing a premium ownership experience."

She further noted, "As a long-term player in this market, Jaecoo Malaysia is dedicated in providing best-in-class offerings and services tailored to the needs of Malaysian customers."

The Shah Alam assembly plant, a key hub for Jaecoo’s operations, also CKD assembles the Jaecoo J7 SUVs. According to Jaecoo Malaysia, both the J7 and C9 are now available for viewing, test drives, and bookings at all Jaecoo authorised dealerships nationwide.
