The facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 5 makes its ASEAN debut at BIMS 2025, featuring a single N Line variant for now.

We’re continuing our reports from the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show 2025 (BIMS 2025) with yet another new EV model, this time being the facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 5. For the Thai market, this updated EV crossover hatch comes solely in the sporty N Line variant, featuring tons of N Line-specific parts and cosmetic bits.

We’ve already detailed the minor design changes that took place on the facelifted Ioniq 5 in our previous global launch report, which includes a redesigned front bumper featuring larger air intakes, a new rear bumper design, a larger rear spoiler, and many more. Besides those, what also sets the facelifted Ioniq 5 apart from its predecessor is the new N Line trim level offered to it. For the Thai market, the N Line treatment grants this EV hatch sportier front and rear bumpers, side skirts, a slew of N Line badges and emblems, plus 20-inch N Line alloy wheels.

The N Line treatment continues inside, as the Thai-spec Ioniq 5 gets an N Line steering wheel that looks quite similar to the one found on the Ioniq 5 N, Alcantara-wrapped front seats with N badge embossing and contrasting red stitches, a slew of N Line badges, and many more.

According to Hyundai Thailand’s official website, the sole Ioniq 5 N Line variant gets its power from a single, rear-mounted (RWD) electric motor rated at 225 HP and 350 NM, which is good enough for a 7.2-second century sprint finish and a V-max of 185 KM/H. Said motor draws its power from an 84-kWh lithium-ion battery pack that supplies it up to 530 KM of WLTP range, Hyundai claims.

Charging-wise, the facelifted Ioniq 5 N Line supports AC charging at up to 10.5 kW, while DC charging is capped much higher at 350 kW, allowing the pack to go from 10-80% in just 18 minutes.

In Thailand, the facelifted Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Line is priced at THB 1.988 million (RM259,961). In comparison, the pre-facelift Ioniq 5 currently retails from RM207,458 for the baseline Lite variant, while the top-spec Max variant is tagged higher at RM270,058.

As of now, Hyundai Malaysia has yet to iterate any plans to bring the facelifted Ioniq 5 into our market, with the last Hyundai model previewed to us being the manic Ioniq 5 N, which might make its market entry ahead of its facelifted vanilla twin.
