Highway concessionaires Prolintas recently announced via its official Facebook page that it has reactivated the morning tidal flow on the Putrajaya-bound Kajang Silk Highway stretch spanning from the Sungai Ramal Toll Plaza to UNITEN.

The rebooted tidal flow will be in effect on weekdays (Mondays through Fridays) from 6:30AM to 9AM. The firm adds that this morning peak hour special diversion is being practiced in lieu of the month of Ramadan, and will be practiced this month until March 26.

During which, motorists can also use the Smartlane on the highway, reminds the concessionaire. Earlier this year, Prolintas discontinued the contra flow on the same stretch of the Kajang Silk Highway mentioned following its reduced effectiveness in alleviating congestion there.

It’s unclear for now if this returning tidal-flow operation for this stretch of the Kajang Silk Highway will be resumed after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri break.
