Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd (Rapid Bus), the operator of Rapid KL bus services and MRT feeder buses, is expanding its On-Demand service with the addition of seven new routes and 18 vans starting Monday, March 10th.

The new On-Demand routes will cover UNITEN-Bangi, LRT Wangsa Maju-Sri Rampai, Titiwangsa-Chow Kit, Bandar Kinrara-Jalan Puchong, Taman OUG-Kuchai Lama, Bukit Antarabangsa-Setiawangsa, and Taman Melati-Gombak Setia.

These routes have been strategically selected to cater to areas with high demand and limited existing public transportation options.

Rapid Bus acting chief executive officer Ku Jamil Zakaria announced that Rapid KL's On-Demand service will gradually expand to include more routes by June as new vans are added to the fleet.
The service, which debuted in 2023, currently operates 19 routes and allows passengers to reserve guaranteed seats through the Mobi, Trek Rides, or Kummute apps (depending on the service area) between 6 am and 11:30 pm. Additionally, the RM1 promotional fare has been extended to encourage ridership.
