KINETA, a well-known name in EV charging solutions in Malaysia and Hong Kong, has partnered with Charge+, one of Southeast Asia’s leading EV charging operators, to grow and improve the region’s charging network - starting with Malaysia.

The announcement was made at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 at MAEPS, Serdang.

Through this partnership, KINETA will help Charge+ expand its network of EV chargers across Malaysia. The two companies also plan to work together on major EV charging projects not just locally, but throughout Southeast Asia.

One of the biggest wins for EV drivers is that users from both networks will be able to roam freely - meaning they can use either KINETA or Charge+ apps to access chargers across both networks.

KINETA brings strong local expertise to the table. With one of the largest teams of certified engineers in Malaysia, they’ve sold over 9,000 chargers and completed more than 6,000 installations across homes, businesses, and commercial spaces. Their end-to-end service—covering everything from installation to after-sales support - gives EV owners peace of mind.

Charge+, based in Singapore, operates more than 3,000 charging points across six countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. Looking ahead, the company plans to grow its network to 30,000 charging points by 2030 and build a 5,000km DC charging highway across Southeast Asia.

“We’re excited to work with Charge+ to make EV charging more accessible and convenient for everyone,” said Sunny Lee, Managing Director of KINETA. “This partnership is about making EV ownership simpler and less stressful for Malaysians.”

Goh Chee Kiong, CEO of Charge+, added, “With KINETA’s strong local footprint, we can bring even more reliable charging options to Malaysian drivers, while building towards our vision of a seamless charging network across the region.”

With EV sales expected to triple in Malaysia by 2030, this partnership couldn’t come at a better time. Together, KINETA and Charge+ are helping to lay the groundwork for a cleaner, more connected, and sustainable future.
