- PRO-NET Opens Three New Proton e.MAS & smart Dealerships
PRO-NET has expanded both its Proton e.MAS and smart dealer network by opening three new outlets in Malaysia.
Proton’s new energy arm, PRO-NET, has expanded the dealer network for both the Proton e.MAS and smart EV brands by opening three new dealerships in Kota Kinabalu, IOI Putrajaya, and Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur.
Proton e.MAS & smart Fook Loi outlet in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Starting with the first outlet, the Proton e.MAS and smart outlet in Kota Kinabalu is operated by Fook Loi Eurocar. Located at Lot 3, Jalan Cenderakasih, off Jalan Lintas, 88450 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, this new outlet is also the first authorised smart dealership in Sabah, while being the second Proton e.MAS outlet in the state.
Moving on to the second location, the Proton e.MAS Jewel Sonic outlet at G-218 & G-219 of the IOI City Mall is one of the few outlets located within a shopping mall, while the third and final outlet is the Proton e.MAS Peringgit Auto Max, located at Lot 261, Batu 3 ½, Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.
With these new outlets, PRO-NET currently operates 35 Proton e.MAS dealerships, with 25 of them being dedicated 3S centres, 10 body and paint centres, as well as featuring 31 DC fast charging stations. PRO-NET also claims these numbers will grow soon, as the automaker has already appointed 47 official dealerships across the country, in a bid to ensure a seamless and confident ownership journey for Proton e.MAS customers.
Commenting on this expansion, PRO-NET CEO Zhang Qiang said, “We are proud of how far we have come in just one year. Our growing network is more than just numbers. It is about being closer to the people. Every new dealership means a new community we can support on their EV journey.
“We are confident that more Malaysians will feel ready and excited to make the switch. This is how we build the future together, step by step, from city centres to East Malaysia,” Mr. Zhang added.
