BMW Group Malaysia has announced the retail price for the new BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport, starting at RM218,800.

Following its debut at the My BMW World 2025 showcase, BMW Group Malaysia has finally announced the retail pricing for the all-new 2025 BMW 218 Gran Coupe Sport. This second-gen, locally-assembled (CKD) 2 Series Gran Coupe variant starts at RM218,800, or RM240,500 if you opt for the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) package.

The BSRI package adds a 5-year extended warranty and service package to the 218 Gran Coupe Sport, while the base price also includes the BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience, featuring both the BMW Roadside Assistance & Accident Hotline and BMW Service Online.

As detailed prior, the second-gen (codenamed F74) 2 Series Gran Coupe arrives in a single 218 Sport guise for now, featuring a familiar 1.5-litre 3-cyl turbocharged petrol engine carried over from its predecessor. Still mated to a 7-speed DCT automatic box, the three-pot mill delivers 156 HP and 230 NM to the front wheels (FWD), allowing the 218 Sport to accelerate from 0 to 100 KM/H in 8.6 seconds before topping out at 230 KM/H.

In terms of design, the new 218 Gran Coupe Sport features some familiar design cues derived from its predecessor, most notably being its sleek fastback-style four-door coupe bodystyle. And as its name suggests, this entry-level saloon gets some Sport trim guises, such as satin and aluminium gloss black accents, new 18-inch wheels, and many more.

Not to forget, three exterior hues—Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and Cape York Green—are available, all paired with the cabin’s sole black Verganza Perforated upholstery.

On board, the new 218 Gran Coupe Sport sees its cabin refreshed with both an updated and new curved display module housing a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.7-inch infotainment interface powered by the BMW Operating System 9.

Brimmed here too is an “Illuminated” Aluminium Graphite trim, ambient lighting, and sustainable Veganza perforated upholstery. Notable here too is the redesigned centre console housing a wireless charger, dual cup holders, and an intuitive storage bin.

As for the safety bits, the 218 Gran Coupe Sport gets both the Driving Assistant and Parking Assistance suites brimmed as standard. Together, both bring a raft of semi-autonomous driving and parking abilities, bolstering both safety and convenience.

Another notable tech brimmed here is the BMW Digital Key Plus suite, which enables users to use their smartphone as a digital vehicle key.
