- Denza Malaysia Revises Maintenance Interval For Denza D9
The Denza D9 has been given a revised scheduled maintenance interval by principals Denza Malaysia.

Earlier today, Denza Malaysia announced via press release that it has revised the scheduled maintenance interval for its Denza D9 model – currently, the BYD luxury sub-brand’s sole offering for the local market.
Specifically, the revision involves the model’s first scheduled maintenance. The firm had set this at 5,000 KM or three months (whichever comes first) prior. Starting today (July 1), that interval has been raised to 20,000 KM or 12 months (one year) instead.

Starting today (July 1), the Denza D9 scheduled maintenance interval has been raised from 5,000 KM or three months to 20,000 KM or 12 months (one year).

Denza Malaysia explained that the decision to extend the maintenance interval was driven by a desire to offer greater convenience and contribute to a more seamless ownership experience for Denza customers.
“By reducing the frequency of initial service visits, owners will benefit from more time on the road enjoying their vehicles,” adds the firm.

The Denza D9 was launched locally back in Feb with two variants - Advanced FWD and Premium AWD.

"This extension of our first scheduled maintenance interval is a testament to the exceptional quality and durability embedded in every DENZA vehicle," expressed Eagle Zhao, MD of BYD Malaysia Sdn Bhd, via the press release mentioned.
The exec adds the move not only underscores the firm’s commitment to delivering a premium ownership experience, it also reflects their “unwavering belief in the long-term reliability of our products.”
Launched back in Feb, the Denza D9 sees two variants available – Advanced FWD (RM259,000) and Premium AWD (RM309,000). Prices include an 8-year or 160,000 KM battery warranty plus an 8-yar or 150,000 KM e-motor and control unit warranty.

The Denza brand's network also grew recently with the opening of new showroom and service centres by dealers Sisma Auto in Glenmarie, Shah Alam (left) and Denza Sime Motors in Old Klang Road, KL (right).

Recently, this premium offshoot of BYD also saw its local network grow further with new full-fledged showroom and service centres operated by dealers Sisma Auto in Glenmarie, Shah Alam and Denza Sime Motors in Old Klag Road, Kuala Lumpur.
We’ve also recently sampled the Denza D9 on a press trip to Penang and back. You can read our experience of which by clicking these blue words…
