Local two-wheeled powerhouse MForce has launched yet another e-scooter, this time from its QJMotor brand.

There seems to be an abundance of e-scooter brands and models for MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd (MForce) to import and launch locally. Pictured is the third such offering from the Bukit Mertajam-based firm to debut this month itself called the QJMotor E-LTR.

Though this is the first e-scooter model from the QJMotor brand to debut locally, it does come hot on the heels of two other similar offerings launched by MForce earlier this month, those being the RS20 and Velax models from the Yadea brand.

Called the QJMotor E-LTR, this e-scooter offering arrives hot off the heels of the comparable Yadea RS20 launched by MForce earlier this month too.

Nevertheless, this can only mean good news for consumers as there are now more choices than ever. Certainly, this new QJMotor E-LTR also possesses a few unique traits and features that might just woo buyers into adopting it.

For starters, there’s the styling of the E-LTR which, frankly speaking, sees renowned Chinese bikemaker QJMotor take very liberal ‘inspiration’ from a certain renowned Italian scooter marque – hint: it starts with the letter ‘V’.

The E-LTR is offered in either dark blue or white colours, both matched with a tasty two-tone brown leather seat saddle.

Say what you will about its looks, just know also that there are two colour choices available for it – white and dark blue. Said colours get matched with a rather tasty two-tone brown leather seat saddle too.

Other notable design touches include bronze-finished ‘tie’, pillion footrest and grab handle combo, and engine cover, followed by a distinct squared LED headlamp with a gloss back surround bezel, as well as black 12-inch multi-spoke cast alloy wheels.

On paper at least, this e-scooter packs just the right amount of desirable kit and amenities such as all-LED lighting and a neat digital dash.

Before you ask, the QJMotor E-LTR is a rather compact thing, measuring 1,890 MM long (1,310 MM wheelbase), 710 MM wide and 1,100 MM tall. However, it does boast both a welcoming low 760 MM seat height and versatile 145 MM ground clearance.

Underneath, the QJMotor E-LTR adopts an air-cooled in-wheel hub e-motor rated at 3,000 W (3 KW) – approximately 4 HP – providing twist-and-go ease plus up to three selectable riding modes. Juicing which is a single 74V27Ah Lithium-Ion battery pack.

The E-LTR is powered by a hub-mounted 3,000 W e-motor that promises a top speed of 70 KM/H, max range of 105 KM, and the ability to climb 19-degree inclines.

The setup’s exact torque figure wasn’t disclosed, with MForce electing instead to highlight the setup’s ability to propel the 98.5 KG (kerb) e-scooter model up to a maximum speed of 70 KM/H and climb 19-degree inclines.

In terms of range and charging, the two-wheeled assembling and distribution powerhouse cites a figure of 105 KM with each full charge. Next, the firm says 30-80% recharges are done over 5-6 hours using a regular three-pin wall socket.

Besides an anti-theft key design, the Q-LTR is also brimmed with a USB charging port, cargo hook, front 'glovebox' storage, and a sizeable under-seat bin.

Moving to kit and amenities, highlights include an anti-theft ignition key design, hydraulic front forks plus twin rear shocks combo, all-round disc brakes with combined-braking system (CBS), as well as a sizeable and nifty under-seat storage bin.

Other practical bits brimmed include a front ‘glovebox’, presence of a USB charging port, as well as a cargo hook up front. MForce also notes the presence of an Error Code (ERR) diagnostic system for riders to easily identify and troubleshoot technical issues.

The QJMotor E-LTR commands a base price tag of RM6,999, and sees a 2-year or 20,000 KM warranty included. Notably, it's also eligible for the RM2,400 MARiiCas rebate scheme.

Available through authorised dealers nationwide now, the QJMotor E-LTR commands a nett selling price of RM6,999. Said figure excludes insurance, registration and dealer mark-ups.

What is included though is a two-year or 20,000 KM manufacturer warranty. Lastly, this e-scooter also qualifies for the MARiiCas e-motorcycle and e-bike rebates initiative, meaning qualified buyers can knock its price down by RM2,400 too.
