- Launched: Suzuki Swift Sport ‘Final Edition’ – RM137,900
Mohd Rizal Jailan, CEO of Naza Automotive Group with the new Suzuki Swift Sport Final Edition launched by Naza Eastern Motors recently.

Local Suzuki cars importers and distributors Naza Eastern Motors (Suzuki Cars Malaysia) recently launched a run-out special version of the S-brand's signature third-gen Swift Sport (chassis code: ZC33S) hot hatch for the local market.
Firstly, we’ll point out that this new ‘Final Edition’ from the local firm is NOT the same as the ‘ZC33S Final Edition’ launched by Suzuki in its Japanese home market late last year. In fact, this is a fully localised endeavour as what the Swift Sport ‘Silver Edition’ variant was.
Nevertheless, the announcement of this ‘Final Edition’ means this perhaps is the last chance for enthusiasts to snap up this iteration of the Hamamatsu-rooted automaker's signature hot hatch ‘officially’ – that is if you don’t wish to go down the ‘recond’ or parallel (grey) import route.

This 'localised' special sports a number of cosmetic enhancements, namely the special gold stripe decals plus newly added door visors and carbon fibre exhaust tips for its exterior.

In this localised ‘Final Edition’, Naza Eastern Motors elected to deck out this hot hatch with special gold stripe decals on the bonnet, as well as across the doors and front bumper.
Included here is a ‘Sport’ script badge integrated into the door decals. Additionally, all of this comes on top of an exclusive Pearl Super Black exterior paint – there are no other exterior colour options available. Unchanged here are the 16-inch rolling stock.
Other key cosmetic additions include carbon-like exhaust tip trims, door visors similar to those found in the ‘Silver Edition’ special mentioned, as well as special ‘Malaysia Final Edition 68 Swift Sport’ emblems on the front doors and tailgate.
Also exclusive to this special are its 'Malaysia Final Edition 68 Swift Sport' emblems.

Before you ask, the ‘68’ here refers to our country’s 68th year of independence this year. The fact that Naza Eastern Motors elected to launch this localised special during the firm’s group-wide Merdeka sale carnival should explain this too.
The cosmetic additions continue aboard with new interior trim panels made from forged carbon fibre, plus the adoption of a Soundstream 10-inch touchscreen head unit replacing the stock model’s 7-inch unit. Retained still is a six-speaker audio setup.
Cosmetic enhancements continue on board with exclusive new interior panels made from forged carbon fibre.

These cosmetic enhancements aside, there are no mechanical changes to note. In other words, this special retains the nameplate's signature K14C 1.4-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mill outputting 140 HP and 230 NM to the front wheels (FWD) via 6-speed automatic box.
There seems to be no manual transmission option available for this special, but said automatic box does come with paddle-shifters for added control. Altogether, this powertrain promises 0-100 KM/H dashes in just 8 secs and a V-max of 205 KM/H.
Little else has changed, evident through the 16-inch rolling stock, project LED headlights with halogen forward foglamps, as well as the much of the kit and standard safety equipment primed on board.

Other key features retained from the regular Swift Sport model include LED projector headlamps, halogen forward fog lamps, keyless entry and ignition, a multi-info cluster display, as well as automatic climate control.
As for safety, this localised Suzuki Swift Sport Final Edition continues to offer six airbags, ABS with EBS and emergency brake assist, electronic stability control (ESP), as well as hill-hold assist.
As for price, this 'Final Edition' special is tagged at RM137,900 sans insurance. A 3-year or 100,000 KM factory warranty is included for said price.

As for price, this fully imported (CBU) but ‘localised’ Suzuki Swift Sport Final Edition commands RM137,900 sans insurance. Said figure sees this special cost RM7,900 more than the regular CBU Swift Sport model the firm offers, and RM4,000 less than the Silver Edition special.
Included in said price is the usual 3-year or 100,000 KM factory warranty coverage from Naza Eastern Motors.
Lastly, given that this is a run-out special, the firm did not specify just how many units it will offer. Nevertheless, we reckon stocks will be limited to a certain degree, so keen prospects ought to hurry and book theirs now at the firm’s showrooms.
