Several main roads in Klang will be closed in stages from tomorrow until September 29, and again on October 1 and 2, for the royal wedding of Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, at Istana Alam Shah.

South Klang District Police said closures will start at 8AM daily and remain in place until ceremonies end. Among the fully closed routes are Jalan Tengku Diaudin to Jalan Istana, Jalan Istana to Bulatan Simpang Lima, Jalan Istana to Jalan Stadium Sultan Suleiman, as well as several connecting roads around the palace.

Two others, Jalan Dato’ Hamzah to Jalan Tengku Kelana and Jalan Raja Jumaat to Jalan Istana will be closed in stages.

Police are advising motorists to plan ahead, use alternative routes, and follow traffic instructions to ease congestion.
