Experience Stylish Speed At The Adidas x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Pop-up At TRX KL

Here’s a treat for avid local Formula 1 fans. This week, renowned sportswear giants Adidas Malaysia (Adidas) kick-started its special Adidas x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Pop-Up event at The Exchange TRX, KL shopping and retail haven.

Aptly, the special pop-up is being held in conjunction with the annual F1 Singapore Grand Prix that happening across the causeway this weekend. Carz.com.my was invited to this pop-up’s opening day and press launch earlier this week to sample what visitors can expect from it.

During its press launch, a special fashion showcase was held featuring 11 looks, all featuring apparels from the latest Adidas x Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team apparels line that just launched not too long ago. We’ve reported on which prior, and you can get up to speed with which by clicking here.

Notably, said apparels range are up for grabs for fans to purchase at this pop-up. Should you spend RM499 or more on a single receipt here, and the three-striped brand will also reward you with an exclusive Mercedes-AMG scale model car and decal set that you can customise further on-site too.

Apart from that, visitors can also take part in a series of special activities and test their racing prowess. Besides a real-life ‘lights wall’ reaction test, the key highlight here is of course the Speedster Car Simulator Race.

Here, the 40 quickest participants recorded throughout the week will be invited for the grand finale showdown held on the final day of the pop-up and compete against local racing personalities Alister Yoong and Minvern Kuah. The fastest male and female winners here will each take up Adidas vouchers worth RM1,500.
