- Mazda CX-30, CX-5, CX-8 Price Update – Now Up to RM20K Cheaper
Mazda Malaysia has yet again revised the pricing for its SUV models, now including the CX-30, CX-5, and CX-8.
It appears that the newly launched Mazda CX-80 PHEV wasn’t the only Mazda model to get a price revision, as Bermaz Auto Berhad (BAuto) has also silently updated the price for its locally-assembled (CKD) SUV models, the CX-30, CX-5, and CX-8.
Starting from Oct 1 onwards, the entry-level CX-30 2.0L Standard variant will be RM3,000 cheaper than before, thus bringing its on-the-road (OTR) price down to RM128,409. Meanwhile, the rest of the CX-30 variants see an RM5,000 price drop, with the top-spec 2.0L High+ Premium now retailing at RM154,409 OTR.
Next is the popular CX-5, where all variants of this C-segment SUV are now RM10,000 cheaper than before, thus bringing the entry-level 2.0L Mid OTR price down to just RM134,426, RM151,469 for the 2.0L High, RM164,960 for the 2.5L High, RM170,322 for the 2.2D High, and RM178,760 for the top-spec 2.5T AWD High.
Last but not least is the CX-8 three-row SUV, which gets the biggest price cut of the three models at RM20,000. That said, only three variants of the CX-8 will be getting this massive RM20,000 price cut, including the baseline 2.5L Mid at RM165,360, the 2.5L High at RM171,360, and the 2.5L High Plus at RM186,360.
Prior to this, the CX-80 PHEV was given a surprise price cut just weeks after making its global debut, with the flagship three-row SUV now RM35,000 cheaper than its original launch price at RM295,000. Its five-seater twin, the Mazda CX-60, however, is not included in this price revision exercise, with the sole 2.5G 2WD High variant still retailing at RM198,900.
