465883305_18474436534038954_6977451028203493875_n.jpg Traffic diversions will be in place around Sepang this weekend as the Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix 2025 kicks off at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) from Oct 24 to 26.

According to Bukit Aman’s Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT), 177 officers will be deployed to manage the expected surge in vehicles and ensure smooth flow along key routes leading to the circuit.

JSPT director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the diversions are necessary to maintain safety and ease congestion during the three-day MotoGP event.

“Visitors going to SIC may use the entrance route via the KLIA Mosque Roundabout towards the SIC parking area, or via the KLIA Quarters traffic lights if coming from Sepang, Enstek, Labu, and Nilai

"They can also use the route via the KLIA Cargo Roundabout to Jalan Pekeliling towards the SIC parking lot

“For exit from SIC, spectators can use the route from the SIC parking lot towards the SIC traffic lights, then turn right towards Jalan Kuarters KLIA towards Sepang and Enstek,” he said in a statement.

Motorists can also leave through the Bukit Tinjau traffic lights before turning left onto Jalan Pekeliling and heading to the Cargo Roundabout.

Yusri urged the public to plan ahead, follow instructions from officers, and expect delays, especially with the 47th ASEAN Summit also taking place from Oct 26 to 28, which will bring additional road closures around KLIA and Kuala Lumpur.
