- 185 Owners Take Part In Subaru Track Day 2025 At Petronas SIC
The Subaru Track Day 2025 event held last weekend at Petronas SIC was organised by local Subaru enthusiasts with the support of official importers and distirbutors Motor Image Malaysia.

Local Subaru cars enthusiasts left quite a mark last weekend at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) for the Subaru Track Day 2025 event held then. During which, a total of 185 owners and their vehicles had turned up for the event.
Supported by official importers and distributors Motor Image Malaysia, the event was organised by Subaru enthusiasts with a mission to make track experiences as such more accessible whilst also deepening the sense of community among owners.

The event successfully attracted 185 owners who attended with various Subaru models, and many were accompanied by their partners, children and friends for the adrenaline-filled trackday event.
The 185 owners that took part last weekend comprised of various models from the brand, all sharing one signature trait – the marque’s renowned ‘boxer’ or horizontally-opposed 4-cyl powerplants.
Highlights of which include trackday favourites like the BRZ sports coupe, WRX and hotter WRX STI rally-bred sports saloons, multiple generations and variations of the Impreza (both hatch and saloon), a handful of SUV models like Forester and XV, and more.
Vehicles aside, many of the 185 participants were also accompanied by their partners, children, and friends to enjoy a day of adrenaline, connection, and shared passion.



Key activities held included a GRZ Club track session plus closed Time Attack, casual open track drive sessions for participating owners, as well as a special Parade Drive that saw all 185 owners present and their cars take part.

Motor Image Malaysia also provided a fleet of vehicles accompanied by instructors to conduct special ‘taxi rides’ and immersive drive sessions. Key models the firm deployed here include the latest-gen BRZ sports coupe and WRX sports saloon, amongst many.

Besides Motor Image Malaysia, the event was also supported by key partners that included leading tyre brand Yokohama, lubricants brand Motul, as well as engine care specialists Blue Chem.
Other partners and sponsors include SBR Technic, Hardex (Eximius Lubricants), OM System, C&H Auto Garage, ZBOM Kitchen Cabinets, Recaro, GRZ Club Malaysia, Subaru XV Club Malaysia, V11 Malaysia Club, PIAA, THONG Motor, Millers Oils, Kegani Racing Academy, and Whiteline.
