UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) revealed via press release issued today that it successfully shifted a total of 8,172 vehicles last month (Sept 2025). With that, the firm also sees its year-to-date (YTD) total sales rising to 70,418 units.
UMWT hailed its Sept 2025 sales pace as ‘encouraging’, though we’ll point out that it is a sizeable drop from its Aug 2025 sales where it shifted 9,083 units – one of its highest monthly sales for the current business year, in fact.
Despite optimistically hailing its Sept 2025 sales as 'encouraging', it is a sizeable drop from Aug 2025 where the firm shifted 9,083 units.

Nevertheless, despite the last fact, as well as recent events revolving Budi95, the firm touts this momentum stems from its commitment to “Mobility for All” where it delivers vehicles and experiences for Malaysians from all ways of life.
“As conversations on fuel subsidy rationalisation (Budi95) continue, our hybrid electric line-up offers Malaysians a smarter way to manage rising costs,” says Datuk Ravindran K, President of UMWT via said press release.

Presently, the firm has placed electrified hybrid (HEV) models under the spotlight through its "HEV It All" sales campaign that runs until Nov.

This also perhaps explains the firm’s latest “HEV It All” sales campaign running from Sept to Nov this year. Naturally, this campaign spotlights models like the Innova Zenix HEV, Corolla Cross HEV and Camry HEV.
Notably, said HEV models mentioned are all offered with an 8-year hybrid battery warranty on top of a five-year base vehicle warranty, both with unlimited mileage conditions too.

Other offers on hand too include rebates on selected models of up to RM8,000 and more.

HEV models aside, UMWT also noted there are other offers on hand such as rebates of up to RM8,000 on selected models, followed by the Toyota Service Savers that brings 10% savings on parts and labour plus monthly servicing costs as low as RM31.
Datuk Ravindran K. then concluded by reaffirming UMWT’s commitment towards ensuring Malaysians have “access to practical, efficient solutions that reflect their needs and aspirations, while staying true to Toyota’s promise of enabling progress for every journey.”
