Unveiled in China ahead of its Auto Guangzhou 2025 global debut is the all-new Leapmotor A10 EV crossover.

The all-new Leapmotor A10 has been unveiled in China ahead of its first global debut at the upcoming Auto Guangzhou 2025 motor show later this week. Positioned as the brand’s smallest EV crossover to date, the A10 features some familiar design cues taken from both the B10 and C10 EVs.

With a somewhat boxy subcompact SUV crossover bodystyle with an upright rear pillar design and windscreen, the A10 could be competing against other popular B-segment EV crossovers in China, such as the BYD Atto 2 (Yuan Up), the MG S5 EV, and many more.

It adopts the same grill-less front face as both the C10 and B10, featuring a slightly squarer version of the teardrop-shaped LED headlight design seen in its bigger siblings.

Other key design highlights seen from these limited images from Leapmotor include dual five-spoke alloy wheels, a charging port located on the front-left fender, flush door handles, LED taillights with a unique smiley face light signature, and even a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, thus hinting at a high degree of autonomous driving capabilities.

Technical details remain under wraps for now, but given its size and positioning, we can expect the A10 to get a slightly lower powertrain spec than the B10. For reference, the B10 is powered by a single RWD motor setup rated at up to 215 hp (160 kW) and 240 Nm, while its 67.1-kWh CATL-sourced LFP battery pack can provide up to 434 km of WLTP range.

Again, no interior photos of the A10 were available for now, but expect this B-segment EV crossover to pack the same large 14.6-inch central infotainment screen as seen on both the B10 and C10, as well as the B05 hatchback.

As mentioned earlier, the upcoming Leapmotor A10 is set to make its first global appearance at the upcoming Auto Guangzhou 2025 motor show, set to take place later this week. CarNewsChina reports that the A10 will be tagged with estimated prices ranging from CNY 80,000 (RM46,885) to CNY 100,000 (RM58,606) in native China, thus making it on par with some of its aforementioned future rivals.

More importantly, Autocar UK hinted that the new A10 might be part of Leapmotor’s global product lineup, possibly joining the likes of the C10, B10, and the T03 in overseas markets like Europe. Will this subcompact EV crossover be heading towards the Southeast Asian market in the future?
