Earlier today, Leapmotor Malaysia officially announced that bookings for the upcoming new Leapmotor B10 is now opened. The new EV C-SUV offering from the Stellantis-backed Chinese EV upstart marque is also set to officially launch next month (Dec).
Two variants have been confirmed, along with estimated starting prices ranging between RM110,000 and RM120,000. Certainly, these attractive estimate figures are fuelling the next bit of information.
Given that the government’s current fully imported (CBU) tax break expires on Dec 31, speculation remains rife that the Leapmotor B10 could be localised (CKD) through principal partners Stellantis Malaysia at its assembly plant in Gurun, Kedah.
Ahead of its planned launch next month, Leapmotor Malaysia are offering early birds with a series of special perks including a rebate of up to RM8,000 plus a complimentary wallbox charger.

We’ll know for certain once the Leapmotor B10 officially launches next month. In the meantime, here are some key initiatives leading up to which that Leapmotor Malaysia is offering keen early adopters.
Firstly, early bookings are now opened for a nominal fee of just RM80. Secondly, first 200 customers booking the Leapmotor B10 will also earn the choice between a complimentary wallbox charger or service plan, followed by a cash rebate of up to RM8,000.
Leapmotor Malaysia skirted away from shedding too many details surrounding specifications. Instead, the firm noted key highlights like the model’s all-new LEAP3.5 platform, as well as a 67.1 kWh battery pack promising up to 460 KM of range.

The Leapmotor B10 when it was previewed in LHD form locally earlier this year by Leapmotor Malaysia. All signs point towards this offering being localised (CKD) by Stellantis Malaysia in Gurun, Kedah.

Besides that, the firm also casted a spotlight on the crossover's promise of being a practical EV C-SUV offering thanks to its large 420-litre standard boot capacity. This is also expandable up to a maximum of 1,415 litres thanks to folding rear seats.
Keen prospects can place bookings for the new Leapmotor B10 starting today via all authorised dealer showrooms nationwide. Alternatively, registration of interest (ROI) is also opened online via this link.
As a refresher, the Leapmotor B10 is positioned as the marque’s global EV C-SUV offering that slots below the C10. It will rival against the likes of the highly popular BYD Atto 3, the soon-to-be-localised MG S5 EV, as well as the segment-leading Proton e.MAS 7 (Geely EX5).
