What a coincidence! BMW Group Malaysia received 64 pre-booking registrations for the BMW iX on Malaysia’s 64th National Day.
“We are pleased to see Malaysians take a bold step in choosing sustainable mobility as part of their lifestyle, which underlines our belief that the future is, in fact, electric. We have long committed to shape the future of mobility in the country, and we will confidently continue to cultivate the shift towards electromobility further by accelerating the availability of charging infrastructures in Malaysia and rapidly expanding the BMW i dealer network in key cities nationwide,” said Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, Hans de Visser.
Some highlights of the model include its impressive WLTP range of up to 630 kilometres and its first-of-its-kind Shy Tech concept. The BMW iX is said to be a minimalist living space on wheels!
Another noteworthy feature is the BMW IconicSounds Electric, another first for the model. This feature was a collaboration with world-famous composer and Academy Awards winner Hans Zimmer. Now owners can experience the drive with the unmistakable sounds of the BMW and BMW M models.
The First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 and First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 Sport are now available for pre-booking on the BMW Shop Online platform via shop.bmw.com.my at a fee of RM 5,000. Owners can enjoy a battery warranty of up to eight years or 160,000km, whichever comes first.
Additionally, the first 100 customers to pre-book the new BMW iX xDrive40 and BMW iX xDrive40 Sport will receive an exclusive pre-booking advantage that includes a Complimentary Charging Installation and a Complimentary 1-year Public Charging Access. This advantage will be available until September 22, 2021. Terms and conditions apply.
The First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 and the First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 Sport are RM419,630 and RM472,630, respectively.
