The Volkswagen Arteon R-Line 4 Motion is priced at RM248,692.67. A nine-year loan tenure, based on a 10 percent downpayment and a 3 percent interest rate per annum, sums up to a monthly repayment of RM2,632. Meanwhile, the TSI R-Line variant costs around RM221,065, with the same repayment scheme as above; it cost RM 2339.60 a month.
A VW Arteon R-Line 4 Motion has an all four-motion all-wheel-drive system compared to a TSI R-Line with only a front-wheel-drive system. Engine-wise, it uses a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged direct injection petrol 4-cylinder engine that churns out 276 hp at 5,100 to 6.500 rpm, and 350 Nm of torque at 1,700 to 5,600 rpm.
Mated to the 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG), the top speed of the R-Line 4 Motion could reach up to 250 km/h, it has a fuel consumption rating of 7.4 l/100km. As for the VW Arteon, TSI R-LINE can complete the century sprint in 7.1 seconds with the 8-Speed Steptronic Sports Transmission. Its fuel consumption rating is recorded at 6.3 l/100km.
Meanwhile, a BMW 3 Series 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo has a top speed of 235 km/h, and it takes 7.1 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill. Paired with an 8- Speed Steptronic Sport Transmission, it could produce a max power of 181 hp at 5,000 rpm and a torque of 300 Nm at 1,350 rpm. Fuel consumption rating is rated at 6.3l/100km, and it carries a price tag of RM230,764.
A Mercedes-Benz C Class (C200 AMG LINE 2020) is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that serves 204 hp at 5,800 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 1, 600 rpm. Using a 9G-TRONIC transmission, this model has a 6.3 l/100 km (NEDC) fuel consumption rating. It is priced at RM251,587.39.
As for the 7-Speed S Tronic Audi A3 runs on a 4-cylinder inline direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine. The max power is 150 hp at 5,000 to 6,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque at 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. This model could max its top speed at 224 km/h and dash from zero km/h to 100km/h in 8.2 seconds. Fuel efficiency is rated at 4.9 l/100km, while it is retailed at RM230,764.
