Decades Of Growth at Japan’s ‘Temple Of Speed’, Lexus Presents The RC F ‘Fuji Speedway Edition’
Honouring the track where the Lexus F was conceived and termed after the ‘Temple of Speed’ situated at the foothills of Mount Fuji, Lexus presents the RC F ‘Fuji Speedway Edition’.
This limited-edition model embodies decades of development on the iconic Japanese track, and only 50 units of the coupe will be made available.

To begin with, for the first time ever, the Lexus RC F comes in the Electric Surge Blue with a semi-matte finish paint job.
Gazing at the overall build, it embodies the company’s renowned design philosophy with sporty yet elegant contours all around.

At the front, commanding it is a large sporty interlocking grille paired to a set of sleek and sharp angular looking headlights, which exudes a very sinister outlook.
Flipping to the back, a sporty and simple all-black diffuser with integrated quad setup tailpipes can be seen matched to a set of angular shaped wrapped around taillights.

As an added option, the RC F can be fitted with the RC C Carbon Package that consists of a carbon fibre roof, front and rear splitters, and a retractable rear wing.
Diving inside the RC F ‘Fuji Speedway Edition’, said blue theme continues, featuring black and blue Alcantara seats along with blue carbon fibre trims.
Completing the ambience, the RC F comes equipped with an 18-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.

Performance-wise, the exhausts have been upgraded to titanium setups, and the carbon exterior panels not only improve aerodynamics but also reduce weight.
On that note, Lexus also used hollowed driveshafts and a lighter air-conditioning compressor, which further adds to the weight reduction.

Transferring all power to the tarmac is a set of multi-spoke 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres.
Moreover, paired to the set are Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes that see six pots in the front and four pots in the rear.

Speaking about power, the RC F ‘Fuji Speedway Edition’ harbours a 5.0-litre V8 engine that produces 472 hp and 536 Nm of torque.
Married to an 8-speed automatic transmission with rev-matching and launch control, it can surge from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, which is 0.3 seconds faster than the standard RC F.

Overall, the RC F ‘Fuji Speedway Edition’ boasts the best power-to-weight ratio in its class and is the most powerful V8-milled Lexus to date.
