The XC60, Smarter Than Ever Before - Leads The Way In Infotainment With Google Service Integration
Volvo Car Malaysia introduces their “smarter” XC60 to take full electrification forward with more technology and innovation to this latest model.
Priced at RM 325,449.40 without insurance and after-sales tax exemption, the XC60 debuted with a first-of-its-kind built-in infotainment system, complete with a host of Google Services and new Digital Services Package consisting of an integrated voice-controlled Google Assistant.
“The Smarter XC60 with Google Services, delivers the most intuitive infotainment experience in the automotive industry. It fully delivers on our brand promise to provide the freedom to move in a personal, sustainable and safe way,” said Volvo Car Malaysia managing director Charles Frump.
Another highlight is the Volvo Car App and Connected Services, which connects you with your Volvo, enabling convenient remote control of several car functions. It allows you to remotely pre-climatise your parked car, check car status, lock or unlock the doors using your mobile device or voice control.
Design-wise, the smarter XC60 features a rich Scandinavian design with refined enhancements to the exterior. There’s a new grille, new front bumpers and a new exterior colour. It also comes with the new 19-inch 6-multispoke black diamond-cut alloy wheels.
On the inside, a Bowers and Wilkins sound system for the interior. The Smarter Volvo XC60 also presents a range of drive modes tailored to the driver’s preferences.
As for the performance, The Volvo XC60 comes with a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre twin engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission with Geartronic, assisted by a supercharger and a turbocharger, producing 407hp with 640Nm of torque, with 87hp and 240Nm from the battery. The new Volvo XC60 does the century sprint (0-100) in 5.3 seconds and fuel efficiency of 2.2 litres per 100km.
Moving to safety and security, the new Volvo XC60 is equipped with the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), with collision avoidance, lane-keeping aid, run-off road mitigation, cross-traffic alert with auto braking, Blind Spot Information System and a surround-view camera.
You will enjoy a five-year unlimited mileage warranty on a new car and eight years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first warranty on a PHEV battery.
The Smarter Volvo XC60 will be available for viewing at all authorised Volvo dealers across the nation starting from today onwards. Online bookings can also be made through Volvo Car Malaysia’s website.
