Geely Xingyue L Truly Deserving of “Newest, High-end, Flagship SUV” Title, Here’s Why…

A little while ago, Geely Auto declared the new Geely Xingyue L as its “newest, high-end flagship SUV.” Does the model genuinely live up to its title?

The model is said to be high-end and gives off a premium look with a fraction of the price. It is equipped with custom suede seating, a 10-speaker Bose sound system and infotainment systems that may even be bigger than the latest EVs.  

Before the launch of the Xingyue L, the Preface and the Tugella was also launched under the ‘Star’ series. The series is based on the Group’s CMA platform (the Chinese word ‘Xīng’, which features in the original names of the three, translates to ‘Star’ in English).

Under the vehicle’s hood is a 2.0L turbo direct-inject engine that is paired with either Geely’s 7-speed DCT or Aisin’s 8-speed automatic transmission. 

Did you know that the Geely Xingyue L will be the first car equipped with Geely’s GHS2.0 hybrid powertrain system in its future models? The model provides a world-class thermal efficiency of 43.32% and fuel savings exceeding 40%.

This state-of-the-art SUV may even be the best in the aspect of autonomous drive functions. 

New functions available in the model include a 5G-enabled 100% automated valet parking feature that allows the car to find its parking, as well as HWA (Highway Assist). 

The Xingyue L is such a hit that it had already received 30,000 pre-orders after its global release in China.
