Millennium Welt Opens Its Fourth BMW Dealership In KL North
BMW authorised dealer Millennium Welt has launched its first BMW dealership in Klang Valley with its Kuala Lumpur North outlet.
The Kuala Lumpur North branch is a full-service BMW sales, service, spare parts, and systems (4S) dealership that sells BMW Premium Selection certified pre-owned vehicles.
It is located at Lot 50009, Off Jalan Kuching, 51200 Kuala Lumpur, and is open Monday through Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The dealership, which has a total built-up area of around 35,600 square feet, can display up to five new BMW automobiles and ten BMW Premium Selection vehicles. There are 20 service bays for aftersales, including five fast lanes and three reception at the car (RATC) service bays, accommodating up to 60 vehicle service appointments per day.
The facility employs 90 people, including five licensed technicians, to work on high-voltage systems to ensure that all BMW vehicles receive top-notch care, whether electrified or not. A pleasant customer lounge, a car handover lounge, an Isetta Bar, an external patio, and specialised sections for BMW lifestyle items, accessories, and parts are all available. Customers can also renew their vehicle insurance and trade in their used autos.
Millennium Welt upgraded its BMW Kuala Lumpur North 4S dealership with 192 96-kWp solar panels capable of generating over 123,700 kWh of energy to power the building as part of its environmental efforts.
Millennium Welt claims that using micro-inverters on the dealership's roof to convert direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) securely and efficiently will save up to RM4,900 per month in energy costs while saving up to 86 tonnes of carbon emissions yearly. Because BMW electric vehicles are available in Malaysia, the facility also allows EV owners to charge their cars using the AC and DC chargers located in the customer parking area.
“The Millennium Welt Kuala Lumpur North dealership is a welcome addition to our extensive network of dealerships in the Klang Valley, where we can grow in tandem with our deliveries and customer groups in the area. The northern suburbs of Kuala Lumpur are developing rapidly with a projection of contributing over 500 vehicles for the premium segment in the next couple of years,” said Hans de Visser, managing director of BMW Group Malaysia.
Meanwhile, the managing director of Millennium Welt, Bryan Wong, said that the organisation is proud to welcome its first and most energy-efficient dealership in Kuala Lumpur. To support the low-carbon mobility and electrification ambitions of the BMW Group worldwide, Millenium Welt is happy to invest in the particular initiative.
“With the support of our strong customer base, we have also set ambitious targets for Millennium Welt to deliver 2,400 vehicles across the BMW, MINI, MINI Next, BMW Motorrad and BMW Premium Selection brands this year across all our network touch-points,” he added.
