Special Edition Ford Ranger XLT Plus Is Priced At RMRM136,888 And Is Now Open For Booking
Today, Sime Darby Auto Connexion Sdn Bhd (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, has launched a special edition Ford Ranger XLT Plus.
Before we go further, here’s the take if you are looking forward to owning this model;
1) One Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition unit will be on preview at Queensbay Mall in Penang from February 24 to 27, 2022.
2) Display units will be available for viewing at Ford showrooms nationwide from March 10, 2022.
3) Special Edition enhancements include a new front grille design, new fender flares, new sports bar, new illuminated front scuff plates and a built-in DVR camera.
4) Priced at RM136,888 (on-the-road, without insurance and road tax), the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition is now open for booking.
According to the Managing Director of Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford, Turse Zuhair, The Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition is an ideal vehicle for leisure, family, or even running businesses.
Available in five colour options – Absolute Black, Aluminium Metallic, Arctic White, Lightning Blue and Meteor Grey. This special variant has been enhanced to offer a more distinguished and bold-looking exterior that conforms to the active lifestyle of its owners.
Ford Block-Letter Front Grille design, more pronounced fender flares and redesigned sports bars serve as a powerful statement of this variant.
New illuminated front scuff plates with the Ranger logo offer different styles on the inside. The cabin is also fitted with a free in-built digital video recorder (DVR) that provides a range of functions, including high-definition (HD) recording, wide-angle viewing, night view recording, a built-in polarised filter and a Mobile App connected via hotspot.
Compatible with both Apple iOS and Android, it also comes with a 32GB memory card, allowing drivers to record their life adventures or safety features.
Performance-wise, the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition features the 2.0L Single-Turbo engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission capable of delivering 180PS of power and 420Nm of torque.
You will also get 800mm water-wading and heaving towing capacity; the Ford Ranger XLT Plus Special Edition continues to lead with highly advanced technologies and innovative driver assistance features.
Packed with an easy Lift Tailgate, SYNC® multimedia system with reversing camera, electronic shift-on-the-fly 4x4, a light and nimble Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), Limited Slip Differential, Hill Descent Control, Hill Launch Assist, Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), ISOFIX child seat mounts, Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control, Rollover Mitigation, Trailer Sway Control, Adaptive Load Control and Ford MyKey.
