Launched: 2025 Ford Ranger Raptor Sport – From RM273,888*
SDAC-Ford have just added the new Ranger Raptor Sport variant into its local line-up earlier today.

Malaysian Ford importers and distributors Sime Darby Auto Connexion-Ford (Auto Connexion/SDAC) have expanded its signature Ford Ranger variant line-up locally. Announced earlier today was a new Ranger Raptor Sport variant.
Serving as the new ‘flagship’ Ranger variant now, the Raptor Sport slots above the regular Raptor variant, and it brings with it several exclusive aesthetic tweaks and additions to set it apart. These, however, do come at a slight premium – naturally.
Unique to the Raptor Sport guise are both its 'monochrome' (black-white-grey) emblem and stripes decals, and the blacked-out 'Sport Hoop' flatbed sport bar.

Visually, the Raptor Sport rocks the monochrome (black-white-grey) Raptor emblem and stripes decals adorned on each side of its flatbed section. These are meant to offset the exclusive Artic White and Meteor Grey exterior paint options offered on this variant.
Speaking to an insider at SDAC earlier today, Carz.com.my has understood that both the white and grey hues can only be acquired in the Raptor Sport – these options have been axed from the regular Raptor variants slotted below.
Exclusive to the Raptor Sport too are its 17-inch two-tone beadlock alloy wheels. These are designed with "serious off-roading" in mind, says SDAC.

Besides that, another signature of the Raptor Sport is its rolling stock and ‘Sport Hoop’ flatbed sport bar. The former sees this variant gain exclusive 17-inch two-tone beadlock style alloy wheels, whilst the latter sees a blacked-out unit now brimmed.
SDAC adds that the exclusive wheels mentioned are also brimmed with true beadlock rings for “serious off-roading.” It also comes fitted with stylish “beauty rings” for owners to customise, adds the firm.

On board kit remains largely unchanged, and it mirrors what's seen in the regular Raptor variants slotted below.

Apart from which, there are no other aesthetic and visual changes to note. The same applies to kit list in the Raptor Sport as it mirrors what’s offered in the regular Raptor variants slotted below.
Furthermore, there are no mechanical changes to note too. In Raptor Sport guise, this Ford pick-up truck harnesses the blue oval's 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 twin-turbo petrol mill outputting 397 PS and a meaty 583 Nm of twist, and it’s paired with a 10-speed automatic box.
Besides a trick 4WD setup, the Raptor Sport also continues to ride on its nameplate's signature Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass suspension with Bottom-Out Control.

Besides a trick four-wheel-drive (4WD) setup, the Raptor Sport also sees its chassis ride on the Raptor guise’s signature Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass suspension bolstered with Bottom-Out Control. Also retained is the Raptor guise’s lauded ‘Baja Mode’.
As mentioned, the special aesthetics and additions do come at a premium as the new Ford Ranger Raptor Sport detailed commands RM273,888 in Peninsular Malaysia, and RM277,388 across East Malaysia (Sabah and Sarawak).

For reference, the regular V6-engined Ford Ranger Raptor slotted below commands RM263,888 (Pen. Malaysia) and RM267,388 (Sabah and Sarawak).
As usual, the prices listed for the new Raptor Sport guise noted includes a 5-year warranty plus a 2-year service package. Lastly, customers booking the new Raptor Sport will also gain an exclusive “Live The Ranger Life” cooler bag as a free gift.
