Flood Hit The Greater Kuala Lumpur Again!
Thousands of cars were stranded by floods, and traffic came to a standstill in several locations around the city.
The Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) confirmed that the heavy downpour that started at 3 pm had caused thousands of cars parked in open parking areas and underground car parks around the city to be flooded.

Among the worst affected areas are Kampung Baru, Bukit Bintang, parking areas near KLCC and Jalan Kuchai Lama, tunnel near Tabung Haji, Chan Sow Lin tunnel, Jalan Pudu, Jalan Sri Permaisuri, Jalan Tun Razak and Jalan Pahang.
Other areas involved are Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Kampung Gombak Batu Arang, Kampung Melayu Kundang Batu Arang, Kampung Melayu Sungai Serai Batu Arang, Kampung Gombak Kuang, Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh and Kampung Melayu Su

Also affected by the flash floods are Jalan Cheras, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Loke Yew, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Tun Perak and Jalan Ampang.
At the same time, the Bukit Jalil Highway and the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway were reportedly severely affected by traffic congestion in both directions.

Meanwhile, many photos and videos were uploaded on social media, showing rows of vehicles trapped in the floodwaters around the parking areas near KLCC.

The SMART tunnel had to be closed completely following the flash floods that hit the city.

However, so far, no casualties have been reported. For those trapped in flood, take care of your safety.
