Aston Martin’s DBX707 Production, Creating More Job Opportunities For The People

Ensuing the launch of its new DBX707 model, Aston Martin sets to create more employment opportunities for the local community at its St Athan site in Wales.

Aston Martin Lagonda’s chief executive officer, Tobias Moers, remarked, “As we ramp-up production of the DBX707, we are delighted to have the opportunity to increase our team at St Athan.”

Upon entering full production later this quarter at the site, more than 100 new skilled automotive technicians are to be recruited.

Moers added, “Our DBX SUV is the first Welsh-built production car for nearly 50 years and these new positions are an opportunity to join a team delivering our truly incredible new DBX707 derivative which is setting new benchmarks for performance in the luxury segment.”

According to Simon Hart, Wales’ secretary of state, this creation of more than 100 jobs by the brand is a show of great confidence in the skills and expertise of the Welsh workforce.

In light of that, the UK Government is persistent in working to secure and support the investment of companies like Aston Martin Lagonda as they drive economic growth and create jobs.
