BMW Group Malaysia hunting the OLDEST M series!

Old but gold phrase certainly not just a catchphrase as BMW Group Malaysia has revealed their quest to hunt the oldest BMW M model as part of its 50th golden anniversary M series. 

BMW M6

Winners will stand a chance to receive exclusive BMW M merchandise and a feature of their prized vehicle by the car marque. 

As announced, one winner will be selected for every BMW M model series, with special prizes for notable submissions as well. 

BMW M2

The ‘hunt’ will close on June 8th, 2022 which next month the most antique M model will be displayed to the nation.

BMW M4

Taking its event celebration on next Tuesday (24th May 2022), BMW Group Malaysia will exhibit a line of the most legendary vehicles designed for drivers from the portfolio of BMW M.

Do expect to ‘meet’ the iconic BMW M1 to the luxurious BMW M8, as the models were true pioneers of their time and within their segments having M in its DNA. 

BMW M5

Ever wonder the first car they ever work on? 

It’s the 3.0CSL. The race was created for the European Touring Car Championship and went on to dominate the championship every year from 1975 to 1979. 

BMW M1

The 3.0CSL is also the models of the first two examples of the BMW Art Cars which were painted by renowned artists Alexander Calder and Frank Stella. 

However, the first car that successfully debuted on 1978 was BMW M1. With only 456 units manufactured, the 6-cylinder in-line engine BMW M1 was crowned Germany’s fastest road-going sports vehicle (264.7km/h).
