Hyper-Advanced And Avantgarde Interior, The New Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV
![]()
Mercedes-Benz has teased the masses with a sneak peek of the new EQE SUV’s interior, ahead of its world premiere this 16 October.
A multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive saloon, the EQE SUV offers the key novelties of the EQS model, yet at the same time more dynamic than the EQS SUV version.
Based on the large electric platform from Mercedes‑EQ, the five-seater EQE SUV is one of the most spacious representatives of its class, in terms of headroom, legroom and elbow room.

Avantgarde as well as traditional materials and colours give the interior a special atmosphere, where five co-ordinated colour blends underscore the generous sense of spaciousness.
For the latter, it comprises warm and cool tones. E.g, the warm, modern balao brown combines with technoid-looking neva grey and biscay blue/black.

Then, a hybrid trim element brings together the warmth of wood with the technical coolness of real aluminium. It comes in an anthracite 3D relief-look finish that features fine metal pigments.
Beautifully, the laser-cut trim element backlit with the Mercedes‑Benz pattern also creates a special ambience.

On top of it all, it boasts an interior that has been consistently digitalised. The optionally available MBUX Hyperscreen implements this to impressive effect.
Its entire instrument panel is one ultimate widescreen, at which the high-resolution screens merge seemingly seamlessly under a single glass cover.
The dominant outer vents have a turbine design, playing on the theme of hyperanalogue via the contrast between high-tech precision mechanics and the digital glass display world.

Next, the front section of the centre console joins the instrument panel and is free-standing in space, and the vent band from the cockpit is visually continued in the front doors.
Lastly, a floating control cluster with integrated door opener and seat controls takes over the functional interpretation of formerly purely decorative elements.
In short, with the new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV’s hyper-advanced and avantgarde interior being this special, its exterior outlook is definitely something to look forward to, once it is revealed.
