The New Renault Zoe In Malaysia, Bookings Are Now Open

Renault Malaysia has now opened bookings for the new generation Renault Zoe compact electric vehicle (EV).

The Zoe offered in Malaysia uses a 52-kWh lithium-ion battery pack that has a driving range of between 386 km to 395 km (WLTP).

Its electric engine, which is a wound-rotor synchronous motor, produces an output of 108 HP to 133 HP and 225 Nm to 245 Nm of torque.

Zoe’s battery can be fully charged in just three hours using a normal AC 22-kW charger, and in 9.5 hours using a 7.4-kW.

Whereas, using a DC 50-kW fast charger, the time taken to charge from 0% to 80% capacity is only 70 minutes.

On top of that, Zoe comes with a regenerative braking system that can be activated by selecting the B mode via the gear. 

Exterior-wise, important features include full LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and reverse camera.

Inside the electric five-seater, equipped is a seven-inch EASYLINK infotainment system with six speakers. The setup supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Color-wise, it comes in Solid White, Black, Purple, Blue and Red. In terms of pricing, for Malaysia, the new Renault Zoe starts at MYR 163,000, on-the-road without insurance.
