Building on its already alluringly distinguished character, the INFINITI QX50 SUV’s new offerings for the 2023 model year.
The 2023 QX50 now comes with the INFINITI Premium Care, a stylish new SPORT grade, and more standard convenience features.
First off, the addition of INFINITI Premium Care, which is also available for all 2023 INFINITI models, lease or retail, sold in the United States.
Providing top-rated customer satisfaction, the integrated maintenance program includes up to three years of inspections, oil changes and tire rotations.

Second, the new QX50 SPORT grade. It receives a visual boost thanks to a unique front fascia, 20-inch dark-painted and machine-finished wheels, and gloss black exterior trim pieces.
Other than that, its interior also adds semi-aniline, leather-appointed seating and a Bose Premium audio system with 12 speakers.
Third, the 2023 QX50’s several newly added standard convenience features that are available across all grades.
For starters, they include heated outside mirrors, remote engine start, a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror, rear door alert and a wireless phone charging pad.
Then, the PURE and LUXE grade get a new 19-inch alloy wheel design, and the latter now includes a motion-activated liftgate as standard and a new 12-speaker Bose Premium audio system.

Topping it all off, the QX50 adds a Radiant White exterior colour option for selected grades, plus Pebble Gray and Monaco Red interior colours, also for selected grades.
Now, with that out of the way, let’s take a look at the 2023 QX50 as a whole. It is offered in five grades which are PURE, LUXE, SPORT, SENSORY and AUTOGRAPH.
Performance-wise, the first four grades feature standard Front-Wheel Drive and available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, while the AUTOGRAPH has standard AWD.
At the heart of all the QX50s is the world’s first mass-produced variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) 2.0-litre engine.

Seamlessly, the engine can change its compression ratio to optimize for improved fuel efficiency, or greater power output, of which has an impressive 268 HP and 380 NM of torque.
Said setup is paired with an XTRONIC transmission that benefits from Downshift Rev Matching and standard paddle shifters.

Furthermore, as a result of the powertrain’s innovative design, the 2023 QX50 also delivers impressive fuel economy figures.
I.e., 10 L/100 KM city and 8.1 L/100 KM highway with front-wheel drive or 11 L/100 KM city and 8.4 L/100 KM highway with all-wheel drive.

Exterior-wise, the QX50 draws on several key INFINITI styling cues to create its sculpted look and muscular proportions.
It features elements like the double-arch front grille, crescent-shaped rear roof pillar, prominent body side crease lines and a sleek roofline. Plus, both 19- and 20-inch wheels are available.
Completing the outlook are eight exterior colours. Hermosa Blue, Mineral Black, Graphite Shadow, Slate Gray, Black Obsidian, Dynamic Sunstone Red, Lunar White and the new Radiant White.

Interior-wise, the QX50 has sliding second row seats, allowing for optimizing between legroom or luggage room.
Notably, it can be folded flat to create up to 1,843 litres of cargo space, or about 1,824 litres with the panoramic moonroof option.

In addition to that, the boot comes with a standard power liftgate, with available motion-activated function for easy access.
Connectivity-wise, it comes with the standard INFINITI InTouch infotainment system that has an 8-inch upper and 7-inch lower screen, with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay.
Besides that, it gets a total of four USB ports throughout the cabin, plus a newly standard wireless device charging pad.

Two available audio systems are offered, Bose Premium audio system with 12 speakers and Bose Performance Series audio system with 16 speakers.
Lastly, the safety features. For starters all 2023 QX50 models are equipped as standard with the ProPILOT Assist that has adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and traffic sign recognition to name a few.

Other systems include predictive forward collision warning, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, rear automatic braking and high beam assist.
That said, the 2023 INFINITI QX50 is on sale now, and rides with a price tag starting from USD 40,300 (MYR 186,770).
