2022 Mazda Charity Golf @ Glenmarie Golf & Country Resort, Shah Alam
BERMAZ Motor, main distributor of Mazda vehicles recently hosted its 8th Mazda Charity Golf Tournament which takes place at the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club as part of its way to contribute to the society through financial assistance and charity events.
The 8th Mazda Charity Golf tournament saw overwhelming support from 144 participants and raised a total of RM 509,183.00, thanks to the generous golfers, donors and sponsors. Also, the proceeds of the funds will be distributed to the Mazda Medicare Fund (MMF).
2022 Mock Cheque Handover to representatives from various charitable communities
During the prize-giving luncheon, the ceremony invites representatives from Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital TKPKMM (Tabung Kebajikan Penyakit Kanser Mount Mariam) in Penang, Pusat Jagaan Titian OKU Nur, and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Perlindungan Jothi Viyasar Negeri Sembilan on stage to receive mock cheques.
Through the MMF fund itself, a total of RM 3.6 million has helped more than 266 patients in Malaysia over the past 6 years. To date, 13 B. Braun’s dialysis centres have been built and operating nationwide which provides subsidised haemodialysis treatments for eligible patients.
On a different note, Mazda introduces Mazda Privilege Card (MPC) where Mazda Owners not only support and assist the underprivileged but also get to enjoy tax exemption from Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN).
To apply, Mazda Owners must register a sign-up fee that costs RM100.00 which serves as a donation to MMF.
More than that, it benefitted Mazda owners to receive 15% discount on selected genuine spare parts and official merchandise including a 5% discount on labour charges available at Mazda Showroom and Service Centres operated by Bermaz Motor and Prima Merdu only.
For your info, MMF was first established in 2015 and operates under joint management between Prima Merdu Sdn Bhd and B. Braun Avitum Renal Services to provide life-saving haemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients that have financial constraints.
