Bertone name revival underway, new supercar teased

Legendary Italian coach building and design firm Bertone is being revived thanks to the efforts of two brothers who are aiming to restore the design house back to its former glory. And, based on this recent teaser, said efforts will include a brand new Bertone-badged supercar too.
Founded back in 1912 by Giovanni Bertone, the famed design house is renowned for designing and styling iconic classics like the Lamborghini Countach, the Lancia Stratos, the Citroën XM, and countless others. The firm sadly went bankrupt back in 2014 following years of decline in demand for coach building.
That changed in 2020 when brothers Jean-Franck and Mauro Ricci purchased the brand and set about with their ambitions of reviving it. Together, both brothers claim to have over 38 combined years of experience working with engineers, many of whom are in the automotive sector.

“By designing legendary cars such as the Lamborghini Miura and Countach, and the Alfa Romeo Coupe Bertone, Bertone has a well-earned place in the automotive history books, which today are being dusted off to make way for a new, revolutionary chapter,” they say.
In regards to the car teased via Bertone’s recently set up official Instagram and LinkedIn pages, there is absolutely no information available. What’s certain is that the car teased will stand to commemorate the Bertone brand’s 110th anniversary.
Apart from technical details and specifications, what remains unanswered too is when exactly this new supercar will debut. Nevertheless, given its historical design hits, we’re certain this new supercar will look the part, regardless of what it will be powered by, be it petrol or electric based on current trends.
We’ll have more updates once this car is officially revealed by Bertone, which we hope will happen soon enough…
