Biggest Honda 3S centre in Kuching opens its doors
Honda Malaysia sees its East Malaysia network elevated following the opening of its largest 3S centre in the state of Sarawak. Located in the Kuching state capital’s Petra Jaya district is the new Honda 3S Centre operated by dealers Northmont Capital Sdn Bhd (Northmont Capital).
The centre, which saw RM15 million invested into its build and construction, sits on a 4,711-square-metre land with a total build-up area of 2,339 square metres. The centre is brimmed with the latest facilities and equipment in compliance with Honda standards, housing a total of 12 service bays plus 3 general repair bays and a tyre service bay too. Overall, the centre is able to service up to 50 cars daily.
Apart from that, Northmont Captial’s Honda 3S Centre also provides a comfortable environment for visiting customers through a variety of amenities such as comfortable lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as a kids’ corner.
Beyond that, said dealership also offers road tax and insurance coverage renewal services, car wash, vehicle air conditioning service, as well tyre alignment and balancing services amongst many others, all in the effort to bolster customer convenience further.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and CEO Hironobu Yoshimura said, “This year, the East Malaysia region has recorded encouraging sales performance, and contributed 5% to Honda Malaysia total sales from January to September 2022. Out of the 5% sales contribution, Sarawak is the highest contributor with 3%.
The exec continued further in highlighting that its new City B-segment model stands as the East Malaysian state’s most sought-after Honda model, contributing to 22% of the total sales in said region too. Second to it comes the recently launched HR-V, of which Honda says over 200 bookings have been placed in Sarawak state alone.
Sales aside, the new Northmont Capital Honda 3S Centre will play a central role in Honda Malaysia’s renewed efforts in prioritising its after-sales. “To-date, Sarawak recorded close to 40,000 service intakes, which is an increase of 17% from 2021. The opening of this new 3S Centre with facility expansion is timely to meet increasing demand and customer needs,” adds Hironobu Yoshimura.
Customers who wish to make an appointment, as well as garner details on services and facilities offered by the Northmont Capital Honda 3S Centre can contact it by calling its dedicated phone lines at 082-258 400, 082-258 500 or 082-251 900.
As for operation hours, the centre’s showroom opens from 8:30AM to 6:00PM from Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM on Saturdays, and from 8:00AM to 2:30PM on Sundays and Public holidays. The service centre, on the other hand, operates from 8:30AM to 5:30PM on Mondays through Fridays, 8:00AM to 4:30PM on Saturdays, from 8:00AM to 2:30PM on Sundays, and is closed on Public Holidays.
