MBSJ Car Free Sunday, Jalan Kemajuan Subang Closed To All Motor Vehicles

Majlis Bandaraya Subang Jaya (MBSJ) has just released an update with regards to the partial closure of Jalan Kemajuan Subang and SS16/1 Subang Jaya to make way for the “Program Selamat Pagi Subang Jaya; Hari Tanpa Kenderaan”.


The road closure will take place between the hours of 6am upto 11.30am every Sunday starting from this coming 6th November 2022 featuring a host of activities lined up for those visiting. 



The list activities to be held along the 2-kilometres stretch are as follows,

  • Walking/running/cycling

  • Emcee/ DJ games

  • Street musician performances

  • Recycling and Childrens games zones

  • Food Trucks and Car Boot Sale

  • Street Soccer

  • Cupping service by Ikhriar Sunnah

  • BEAMS scooter rental

  • Demonstration and sale of personal mobility equipment (e-scooter etc)

  • Brazilian Capoeira martial arts demonstration

  • Health check services

  • Food eating contest

  • Abseiling demonstration and rental

  • Kids electric car rental

  • Kids colouring contest

  • Cooking demonstration 

  • Aerobic dancing

  • Archery 


The stretch closed to public during these hours are part of Jalan Kemajuan Subang starting from the Jengka Junction up to the Persiaran Kemajuan Junction and part of Jalan SS16/1 from the intersection of Persiaran Kemajuan to Persiaran Jengka.
