Road Closure; Batang Kali- Genting KM15 Route Closed To The Public Until Further Notice

The Batang Kali-Genting KM15 route had to be closed by the authorities as a result of the landslide at Father Organic Farm that has so far had 16 causalities with 17 still missing.

The measure was taken to ensure public safety. Only the main Sungai Tua-Ulu Yam route can be used to access the incident site right now.

The incident is said to have occurred at around 2.24 am, and the estimated size of the rubble is one acre, with a height estimate of 30 metres.

The area is currently restricted to the public and is considered to be high risk.

Sixteen victims have so far been pronounced death while numbers of victims are still buried in the avalanche that struck a campsite close to the scene of the incident.
