BMW iX xDrive50 Sport Available Now At RM546,800 - 5 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty

With 2023 just kicking off, BMW Malaysia has announced product updates for the New BMW iX xDrive50 Sport, exemplifying the premium automaker’s commitment towards shaping the future of Electrified Mobility in Malaysia and raising the benchmark in Sheer Electric Driving Pleasure.
Based on BMW Malaysia’s car configurator, we are able to see both models offered which are the xDrive40 and xDrive50 of which the former is offered in base and sports variant while the latter only in the flagship sports trim. As for the price, the xDrive50 Sport goes for RM546,800 while the xDrive40 Sport is RM447,800, a good RM99,000 extra for the top of the range model. In comparison, the base entry level model of the xDrive40 is priced at RM403,800 which is RM143,800 lesser than the xDrive50 Sport.

The New BMW iX xDrive50 Sport will be equipped with 22-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic wheels with 3D polished buff and 17-inch brake calipers in Blue. It will also feature the expanded exterior mirror package equipped with the all-electric SAV.

The sumptuous design language of the BMW xDrive50 Sport extends into the vehicle's cabin, as the Interior Design Atelier elegantly lines the cabin as standard, complimented by the central console and central armrest in Sensatec. It will also come standard with the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which includes a curved 12.3-inch instrument display and a 14.9-inch centre display, as well as a premium Harman Kardon surround sound system and 4-zone air-conditioning control.
Now for what really matters for EV enthusiasts, the BMW iX xDrive50 Sport’s 111.5kWh battery charges from 0 to 80% in 35 minutes with the use of a DC Fast Charger, and 0 to 100% in 10 hours and 45 minutes with an 11kW AC Wallbox Charger. All juiced up it delivers 523hp and 765 Nm of torque with speed electronically limited to 200 km/h. The range BMW publishes for the xDrive50 Sport is 630 kilometer (WLTP) per charge.

Standard in this premium Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) as BMW coins it, are Intelligent Emergency Call, Teleservices, ConnectedDrive Services, Connected Package Professional, BMW Natural Interaction and Active Protection via the high-resolution BMW Live Cockpit Professional. In terms of assistance, the New BMW iX xDrive50 Sport features the Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant and new cruise control with braking function.
The New BMW iX xDrive50 Sport will be made available in eight colors: Mineral White, Alpine White Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic, Sophisto Grey Metallic with Brilliant Effect, Phytonic Blue Metallic and Blue Ridge Mountain Metallic while two colors Individual Storm Bay Metallic and Aventurine Red Metallic is available at a RM6,200 premium. For the interior, buyers can opt for either Interior Design Atelier in Mocha or Black or fork out an additional RM17,300 for the Interior Design Suite in Amido or Castanea.


All BMW iX xDrive50 will come with a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty, a eight-year/160,000km battery warranty and a six-year service package, to learn more about this latest offering from BMW feel free to drop by any of their dealers nationwide.
