PJD Link Doesn’t Exist In Selangor’s Plans For Now - MB

According to Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the controversial Petaling Jaya Dispersal Elevated Highway (PJD Link) project has not been submitted for planning approval in Selangor.
The MB further stated that only the federal government had previously given approval. "So, the state government hasn't previously received any proposals outlining the changes they want to make to PJD Link or Kidex.

"As of their initial presentation to us earlier, they pledged to forgo any complaints and work to change all the elements resisted by residents of Petaling Jaya. "As of now, under state planning, there is no PJD Link except when they come to us and present to us through the Selangor State Economic Action Council (MTES)," Amirudin said at a press conference held today at the Parliament building. Selayang MP William Leong urged the Pakatan Harapan state government to use its authority and block the PJD Link in October of last year. He reportedly stated that the proposed highway project's corporate structure has a clear potential to worsen inequality and impede economic growth in the state, which could be predicted even before formal evaluations were completed.

The PJD Link, a toll-free elevated highway, would run through densely populated areas of Petaling Jaya. Previously, some residents staged a protest against the proposed PJD Link at Section 14, Petaling Jaya, crying out their frustrations over the highway’s potential impacts on the residents and the environment.
