PJD Link Not Cancelled, But Postponed To Review Alignment In PJ
Although it has been postponed to allow for a realignment review, particularly for the affected areas here, the Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link (PJD Link) has not been scrapped, Scoop reported.
Izham Hashim, the Exco for Infrastructure and Agriculture in Selangor said that no more decisions about PJD Link have been made by the state government. He also mentioned that Petaling Jaya's alignment plans have been forwarded to the developer to review.
The state government's position is straightforward, according to Izham. The highway alignment needs to be reconsidered, particularly in PJ. The developer has been notified to submit some ideas.
“The state government will make a decision following an internal meeting between the relevant state and parliamentary representatives to discuss the social impact assessment (SIA),” he added.
It is understood that PLAN Malaysia Selangor has approved PJD Link's SIA, allowing the project to proceed.
