The Next Generation Mitsubishi Triton *MIGHT* Look Like This
-full.jpg)
Debuting last week during the 44th Bangkok International Motor Show 2023 (BIMS 2023), the Mitsubishi XRT Concept has given us an early look at how the successor to the Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck might look.
Also sold as the L200 in select global markets, an all-new generation iteration of perhaps Mitsubishi’s staple pick-up truck offering is set to debut later this year. Despite its elaborate camouflage wrap, the body panels visible look almost production ready.
Perhaps this is what prompted the render artist over at Russian motoring portal Kolesa to have a go and reimagine the concept in final production form. The result is stellar to say the least, and we’re certain plenty of you are digging it too.

Exciting traits here include the prominent new front grille plus the split headlights layout featuring slim LED DRLs on top – much like the current Triton’s. Kolesa’s artist has also given us their impression of how the LED combination taillights might look like.
Overall, it’s plain to see that the upcoming Triton successor is set to get a new and more rugged look compared to the current generation model. This will be a huge plus given reports that it will underpin the same bones as the Nissan Navara pick-up truck.

To refresh your memory, The XRT Concept pick-up truck was showcased last week during BIMS 2023 where it previews the upcoming new generation Triton model. The concept featured a Dakar Rally-inspired look plus striking camouflage wrap with Ralliart branding.
Little else is known about the upcoming Triton successor at this point, but it seems certain that a new successor model will debut in Thailand first this year ahead of other markets. Next to it, an all-electric twin will be spawned too, but this may be a different model entirely.
