Lamborghini Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 Bows, Limited To Just 40 Units

Essentially, buyers of the most extreme Lambo ever can now get a matching least extreme Lambo ever.

What you see here is essentially the recently refreshed Urus Performante super-SUV from Lamborghini with an aesthetic redux by its Ad Personam customisation arm to match the Essenza SCV12 track-only hypercar. 

Unveiled this week, Lamborghini is exclusively offering this special to owners of the Essenza SCV12, with just 40 units planned – just like said hypercar. Unfortunately, this is merely a special styling exercise as the Essenza SCV12-inspired Urus Performante special does not pack any significant performance boost.

Like the track-only Essenza SCV12 hypercar (left), just 40 units of the Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 edition will be made.

This means the base Urus Perfomante’s mechanicals, comprised of the 666 PS (656 HP) 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo and all-wheel-drive (AWD), remain unchanged. Altogether, it grants 0-100 KM/H in 3.3 seconds.

Setting this super-SUV apart from its regular base car is its two-tone body colourway matched with black-out lower trim parts plus a racing number decal on the front doors. Closer inspection also reveals a contrasting colour line in the lower section of the body and roofline.

Other key exterior styling efforts include the adoption of 23-inch wheels finished in glossy black with matching brake calipers. However, buyers can opt for different wheel designs and colours still.

All 40 units of the Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 are being offered exclusively to owners of the Essenza SCV12.

On board, this limited-run special edition sees its cabin laced with black Alcantara upholstery and a bevy of carbon fibre trims, the latter presented in either a matte or gloss finishes. Trims in black anodized aluminium elements are also present, as are red door handles.

Present on the passenger side of the dash is track car's silhouette and name, and this motif is repeated in the side sills too. Lastly comes two carbon fibre plaques, one bearing Lamborghini's 60th-anniversary logo while the other can be etched with either the customer's name or their preferred number.

Special commemorative carbon fibre plaques aptly denotes how 'special' and 'rare' this Urus Performante is.

Lamborghini didn’t disclose how much each Urus Performante Essenza SCV12 edition costs, but we’re certain it stands significantly cheaper than the track-only hypercar that inspired it. We’re also certain that all 40 units have been spoken for too, just like the hypercar it’s styled to match up with…
